This old house

All Saints' Day and it's been nonstop lashing. A quick blip on my way back from getting the Sunday papers - shh, slightly further than 5km but essential eh?  Mind you the news is grim or daft. I see England is about to go into lockdown and worldwide stress levels are rampant for Tuesday's outcome, an earthquake in Turkey and horrendous flooding an landslides in Vietnam. And in the same paper there are four pages on how to defrizz your hair and wear a Princess Diana inspired cardigan. I guess we need a bit of the latter after the former.

A day on wells and far too  long on the computer.

And here's something that's brought a smile to the family faces - my brother has a radio show, Bedtime with Barry  starting tonight on Radio Alty (Altrincham!). He has a most mellow voice, an eclectic taste in music and many stories to tell. We shall be tuning in in our jimjams.
