Tödi and Clariden

Wasn’t planning on going far today, but Mr S noticed the weather would be much better on Sat than Sun. Without much planning, we set off in thick fog, and by the time we got high above Zurisee we were in super warm sunshine. We parked the car, well Mr S parked the car just below Ibergeregg, where he parks the car to go ski/touring. Set off steeply up the side of the forest, doing the ski touring route without skis or snow, we had poles though! The advantage was we didn’t see anyone, and could zoom straight up to the Laucherenstöckli, 1750m. It was hot, and completely calm. So many fantastic photos, very difficult to choose, but I thought snow covered peaks of Tödi, 3631m and Clariden, 3267m would please most of you.
7km, 450m climb, 2 hrs 40m
