Watched a bit of old Marr interviewing Sir Jeremy Farrar - asked about the chances of a four week lockdown doing much, he was tentative, hinting that probably another couple of weeks might be necessary so that the R number could be brought under one. Well, that’s something I guess. I notice that the opposing view to lockdowns, previously called ‘living with it’ is now characterised as ‘letting it rip’. Clearly a bad thing.
