Late afternoon.

Out for a walk this after lunch. Nice out. Quiet, not many folks about.

Late afternoon - last cut and rake out of the grass; it needs attention next year. The silver birch tree I’m standing under still has thousands of leaves on it.... (frost will change that!); two of the other trees have dropped their leaves, and one was cut back hard before it had a chance.

New tiered coronavirus restrictions came into effect in Scotland today. In our case the intention is stay in your Local Authority area. Lots of political shenanigans regarding furlough for Devolved nations. Former colleagues find coronavirus is marbled through their work. I’d a chat today - it’s dynamic. Glad I’m retired.

Family are well.

Watched Monday night rugby on TV. That’s novel.
