Little Miss B & the three Ps

Poor little Miss B hasn't been well today. She has a temperature and doesn't want to eat. She's spent most of the day clinging to her momma. So touching: at intervals she would climb off her mum's knee, come over and give me a big cuddle, and then return quickly to her mum, as if to say, I still love you, Granny, but I need Momma most today. She's such a sweetie. The doctor saw her this evening and is confident it's not Covid, but a non-specific virus infection. She's usually so active, it was strange to see her sleepy and clingy, but in between there were moments of her usual cheerful self as she 'high-fived' her toy monkey, whose hands and feet are the same size as her palms.

Her poorliness meant that Mr PP and I took Pearl, Petunia and Pandora to the vet's this afternoon to keep an appointment to have their claws clipped. Little Miss B missed them and was pleased to see their return. She is so gentle with them, and they've got used to an extra pair of little hands fussing and feeding them.

An early night all round, as it's almost certain to be a broken one - especially for the youngsters. Tomorrow is another day ...
