Breaking Blue

I woke up to a breaking blue sky this morning, plus a dusting of overnight snow. Our first. With my first cup of coffee gone, the sun is rising higher in the east, melting snow off the car, warming waiting pigeons on the wires overhead. I’m hopeful for a “good” day. A day when our Democracy stands up and shouts “No More!” A day our Democracy thrives. A day the people stand in long lines to cast their vote because it matters. We cannot take our system for granted any longer. Complacency is a cancer. Democracy depends on its citizens, and our Leaders must reflect who we are, what we stand for, what we want to be • It’s Election Day • Go Joe! Go Kamala! Make America Great, Once Again!
