Update

Although I use Windows for document preparation and personal computing, all my code development is done on a PC running the "Ubuntu" Linux implementation. Ubuntu means "humanity", but is often used in a more philosophical sense to mean "the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity" which, fittingly, is an appealing working atmosphere. Today I updated to version 20.04 (Focal Fossa), and the desk-top image (of a focal fossa) looks great on my vertical monitor! Kermit seemed less impressed! He wanted me to stop working, but what he didn't realise was that I'd switch to the Windows PC to watch the second half of Man City vs Olympiakos.
