View from the window

I’ve finally cracked and moved my “home office” away from the dining room table, and up the stairs to the newly decorated spare room. I’m liking the change of scenery but the extra height has somehow made me more aware of how dark it is so early. Before work time has finished in any case. It’s a very specific time of year, getting up and finishing work in the dark. It feels as though it’s come round fast this year.
