Blessington Lakes on the eve of Samhain

Beautiful walk around Blessington Lakes with S after a wet start and a picnic in the car!

We are in the 2nd week of 2nd lockdown and things are looking slightly better, but we are being urged not to be complacent.

The eve of Samhain, meaning 'end of summer'. Perhaps not such a bad thing after the summer we have had.

No calling door to door for the poor kids, but we saw some mucky costumes on our walk as parents tried to make the day fun for them.

A strange Halloween, but we will keep our 'spirits' up :)
