al fresco

Joanna and I had planned this walk  last week, when we saw that the weather was looking good. It didn't disappoint - sunshine all the way!

We walked just over 3 miles (me on crutches still, and not rushing, so don't worry everyone that I'm overdoing it). and here we are stopped halfway for tea and (lemon drizzle) cake by the burn at Stepford Bridge.

IT has just started to spit with rain, so I feel that lunch and a bit of "Bleak House" might be on the cards :-)
