The Rose.....

This afternoon son Duncan and I walked to friends’ property where they have a lovely garden. Friend Sue gave Duncan a number of plants and cuttings for his garden. Sue showed me a beautiful rose pictured here. The buds are beautifully formed and such a lovely colour, so elegant. I would love to know its name....
It has been a cloudy but humid day. I was able, moving carefully, to do some gardening, mainly weeding. Very satisfying. Simple pleasures.
