Lensbaby

The weather today was spectacularly nice after so many cloudy days.

I decided to take the Lensbaby for a walk at the beach. My main discovery was that landscape pictures do not work terribly well. For me it works best with scenes with a lot of detail which it blurs and moulds into a blurred whole. Of course Photoshop could produce a similar effect.

I have selected this picture of the Marine Operations Centre, or rather the lower half of the tower.

This lens does not have autofocus, so it was good practice at using manual focus, which I normally try to avoid.

It was quite busy at the beach, but had this been a weekend there would have been crowds of people I suspect.
