Making Christmas pud today.
Never work with children animals or treacle. Evil stuff. When you remove the spoon from the tin it creates a strand about a tenth of the diameter of a human hair and about a mile long. This is invisible to the human eye and immensely sticky.
Luckily LooseCanon seems to be able to find it easily enough, all over his hands clothes hair....
I was searching for links from Abram Lyle to the slave trade. He and Mr Tate of Tate and Lyle were both born after the abolition of slavery and so the company denies any links, however I think their family companies go back to the sugar plantations and those who owned and ran them so I think there are historic connections.
