snowdrops

Found these in my local church yard earlier this afternoon while out for a stroll.

I decided to head elsewhere after these were taken, closer to home, literally 5 minutes walk away i found a small oasis of calm, a quiet corner of land which has many dead trees, long grasses, brambles and slippery muddy tracks.

All around me i could hear blackbirds, chaffinches, robins, wrens, and... wait, was that a green woodpecker i can hear? Oh yes it was, in fact i saw three of the green shiny red headed birds as i walked through this patch.

Sadly my batteries had died on my lieca and i had no other camera on me, i left it on live view and forgot, so when i went to use it, nothing! There is always tomorrow :D
