Imposter

Sometimes I glance up at the chimney line opposite and think there's a small raptor sitting there. Every time I've bothered to get the camera and zoom in a bit, it turns out to be a wood pigeon doing its best raptor impersonation.

Another day of miscellaneous chores - another windowsill repainted - and marking of course (think I'm about two-thirds of the way through now). Spoke with D in the evening - he sounds as tired as I feel, plus he has sore knees. The votes for Biden/Trump seem to have been stuck on 253/214 for an eternity - well, a day or two , surely? Actually strange to say, that's the ratio that the Beeb are showing but CNN are saying 253/213. Have yet to identify the discrepant one.
