Lasagna

Lasagna and salad. Wine: Beckmen Purisima Mountain Vineyard Grenache 2004.

I had planned on grilling steak tonight, but the rain forecast to start overnight and continue through the weekend came early. Steak is now postponed until tomorrow and I will sous vide it. Tonight’s substitution was a frozen lasagna. The wine is really quite delicious—I don’t think of Grenache as the sort of grape one ages so long, so I’m quite surprised and pleased that this experimental purchase paid off so well.
