This wharf reminds me that this pleasant rural scene was once a busy industrial waterway.  The extra is of the" Small River Lea or Lee".  Even the Ordnance Survey can't make up their minds on which spelling is the river and which is the other....... The only way I can remember is that boats have a 'lee'.
