Ox Bow

Taken from the top of the Wallace Monument, we decided to explore a bit of Stirlingshire today. The view of the Ochills from the top of the blustery tower was beautiful, looking out across the river this meander looks set to become an ox bow lake (GCSE Geography is actually applicable to every day life, who knew?) but the farm in the middle may not welcome the process. After yesterday's snow, today was positively balmy. A climb up the many steps of the spiral staircase inside the monument was followed by a trip to Auchterarder for the best hot chocolate in the world at Coco Mountain.
