The Lion's Mouth

M and I went for a walk at NT 'The Lion's Mouth'.  We were on our way to pick up a tin of fence paint from Homebase and this beauty spot is on the way.  This byway leads from the A148 (Holt to Cromer road) down towards the back entrance of NT Felbrigg.  I believe it's called The Lion's Mouth because of the beautiful autumn colours displayed by the old beech trees that are in the woods here.  Whatever the reason, I think it's one of the prettiest lanes around here, although driving down it requires care as the passing places are a little more infrequent than I would like.

The extra is of some leaves that were illuminated by the last few rays of the afternoon sun filtering through the trees.
