Still Foggy

The fog which descended on Bonfire Night, 5th November, has still not dissipated.  It hangs around the buildings, enveloping it in an ethereal quiet, reminding me of TS Eliot's, 'The Love Song of Alfred J Prufrock'.

This was taken on the route to the supermarket. The Autumn leaves are in their final gaudy colour, which sets against the light grey permanency of the sky. I was back to paint stripping for a bit and just cleaning up.
