Lamplight

We felt we needed a bit of exercise and some fresh air today but, looking at the fog, we thought all the high level routes out of the valley would not be pleasant to drive.
We elected to keep to the valley bottom and drive to Halifax.
Dean Clough Mills is a very, very, large mill complex that has been completely regenerated and is normally a thriving community which combines office space, a hotel, leisure facilities, the arts, shopping and restaurants.
Once home to the world’s largest carpet factory, Dean Clough is now home to over 150 businesses, which employ 4000 people. Covid has taken its toll - the place was deserted.  'We Are Closed' signs were everywhere.  Not good.
Fortunately the Jack Wills Designer Outlet - whilst closed - had the good grace to keep their lights on outside.  A bright spot in an otherwise drab day.
