Cocoons

A huge chunk of today was spent soaking and unwinding over 100 cardboard tubes which contained these Mason Bee cocoons.

Now - they've been rinsed a couple of times but I'm hoping that's enough.   Some people rinse in a very very very weak bleach solution.   Some rinse with fine sand to 'scrub' them clean but I'm debating just leaving them as they are.   Who knows.........
