Foggy Woods

Well, the fog was still with us - three days now I think. It never really changed during the day. We decided to go for a walk in search of trees. There are lots of oak and beech trees above the railway line and we spent some time wandering around taking photos. Loved the way fog separates the trees from one another - our images were much less messy as a result. This image has been messed with a little afterwards - mostly to get the colours back to what I remember because the camera has a habit of assuming the fog was all a neutral grey!

We walked back through the village and passed the War Memorial - the village was much smaller at the time so there are only a couple of dozen names listed. I grabbed a red poppy from the garden to photograph for Remembrance Sunday.
