Seal and Scratch watching

It was an overcast day but a walk had been planned, so I got up early and made flapjack to take with us.

The route was along the cliff top path. This is the time of year to see the young seal pups on the rocky beaches at the foot of the cliffs.

There were many to see and hear - a rather plaintive wailing sound. Scratch sat with us for a while but preferred to be off chasing rabbits.
