Excalibur!

So we went on a bike ride today, and were hoping to go through a local golf course to meet the public footpath. But it was closed. However, a posh man came out of the club house, and said 'I'll not tell anyone', and unlocked the gate to let us through! I nearly fell off my bike - again! - on the muddy path, and then after the empty golf course, we arrived in this eerie private fishing lakes, before finding the canal path home.
Overcast but still very nice out, making the most of it. I will definitely NOT be riding my bike once it gets frosty underfoot!!
