On the Way to Stewart Town

We had a lovely day walking through the Bannockburn Gold Sluicings.  It was a perfect day, not too hot, the Wild Thyme in flower, and a very interesting trail through the old gold mining area.  We had our lunch at the old hotel in Stewart Town, then a nice gentle walk back to the cars.

The photos that missed the cut are:  (1)  View through the old hotel window  (2)  Walking past the grape vines  (3)  The view looking over Cromwell  (4)  Passing the Old Blacksmith's shop.

We enjoyed a nice cuppa at a local Bannockburn Cafe.  Only 8,000 steps, so I walked the remaining 2,000 after I got back to the car.
