Phone call made, refund already received. 
Plumber phoned me, arrived 30 minutes later and all the outstanding work is done. 
I received confirmation re a day's climbing, seconding HS and VS routes. Should be interesting. 
Two tubs of cheap wall-filler went into the electrician's holes, the branded stuff will be used for the finishing layer.
A walk to Tesco's the short way, and back the long way.
A successful day, even though I don't seem to have done much!
