Happy birthday Alex!

Alex’s birthday was last Monday, but I was waiting for his birthday present to arrive. I’ve bought him a weather station which went down well. Almost as well as the brownies I’d made, although I hadn’t intended to stay. We sat outside with hot chocolate and the brownies and Alex showed me some other presents he’d had. He seemed pretty happy with it all, despite the lack of a party.

The photo was taken in their ‘Halloween Grotto’ - it will eventually be their new kitchen!
