Holding On

The warm spell we've enjoyed this week I know will soon be over, but whilst it's here we can savour every moment. I suppose each season has its benefits, but right now it would be hard not to like autumn.

I thought the yellow leaves would get lost amongst all the twigs and branches and was surprised to find how well they stand out, when I came to review my images. I'm sure they will disappear also before too long.

I took time to tone down the glare on some of the branches and leaves, which then allows the whites to be lifted further giving a touch more brilliance to the image. It's a bit tedious, but worth it I think.
