A Toast

The moment we found out on the news, AW didn't say anything.  He simply poured two glasses, red for him and white for me, and we raised them in honour of the 46th President of the United States.  I believe many around the world did the same.  We did not whoop with joy but we applauded in our own quiet way.  There's a load of work for him around the corner, poor man, but he wants so badly to serve from the best position possible, and he has reached that position now.  I hope for him that his sails will soon fill with all the wind he needs.

A dry day with our usual things, but the smiles on our faces were wide.

This shot doesn't do any justice to the moment, but it was our moment of acknowledgement of a more hopeful future.
