Look To The Sea

Having blipped the Tor a few times lately, we thought it was about time we walked up it. It was a bit of a grey morning but you could see quite a distance.

The three high spots you can see from left to right are Brent Knoll, the island of Steepholme in the Bristol Channel and Brean Down - about 25 miles away for the flying crow, so a bit of zoom required. Just below the clouds in the far distance is the coastline of South Wales.

We bumped into a couple of people we knew on the way up and down so stopped for a couple of distanced chats.

This afternoon the rising damp specialist, who is the ex-pupil I thought he was, gave our wall the once over: looks like it could be an eye-watering price to get it sorted and he didn't even seem to be bearing any grudges!

The sixth day of my alphabetical lockdown trip through my LPs arrived at F for Family and their album Fearless.

The first track, Between Blue and Me, with its nautical imagery (e.g Look to the sea / Between blue and me) seemed to fit the blip:
