Part of the furniture

The Governors at my school have decided (rather generously) that long serving members of staff should be given a gift.

As I have been there longer than 10 years (16), I could choose between a bottle of champagne or a rather potted orchid.

My orchid arrived today. Quite impressive. Now I need to keep it alive!
