Ratatouille and the hairy rat bag....

Or ratathreeie to be precise .
Cattle fed and left wee brother and 2 herds on horn branding the blackie gimmers next door . They get a year number on one horn and a letter for which farm they belong on the other. It’s done with a hot iron but they don’t feel anything as the horn dead, like toe nails .
Set about clearing up the plastic sheets and big straw bales we had lining the cattle shed where the grain which was bruised on Friday had been stored. As usual there were a few long tails behind the bales. The dogs had good fun catching them, and the terrier got 3 on the trot . Some got away but they got a few.
An afternoon of various odd jobs , including loading up the rest of the pile of concrete ballast into tote bags with my old Ford digger. A bit slow but still better than a shovel !
This was Max admiring his morning’s work !
