Wild for flowers!

A rather stunning patch of Austral Bluebells mingled with yellow daisies and a sprinkling of orchids (not visible in this pic).....They are the native wildflower Wahlenbergia, and I'ld say the species is stricta, the largest of the genus. Coming across them unexpectedly at a turn in the road - we didn't need anything more to make the day special!
