Pheasant shooting season

The pheasant shooting season started on 1st October and since then we have had more and more pheasants in our garden, who realise that it is a place of safety.

MrHCB likes to feed our resident cock pheasant all year round, but the cock pheasant has to be quick off the mark to beat the thundering herd of hen pheasants who have caught on to a good thing.
