Last Shop

I took a trip over to Faversham today for a last shop before lockdown 2 in my favourite book shop. I bought presents for my bro’s birthday and some Christmas gifts.

I resisted temptation to buy one of the lovely hats for sale. The shop will continue to sell on line and offer a click and collect service but you can’t beat choosing a book in store. I love the smell of them and the hidden gems on the bookshelves.

I hope these local independent shops survive.
