Afternoon walk, November 11th, Armistice Day,

I can now leave Stephen for an hour, so as he was settled with a book and our latest 1000 piece jigsaw, I went off on one of my usual circular routes.
In the two weeks that I have not been able to do this particular one, the trees have noticeably shed loads of their leaves.
It is still very mild but there is a wind beginning to spring up, stronger now than when I set out.
School is just emptying across the road. Good to hear the children chatting away.
It will be dark sooner this evening as it has been a dull day.
Our lamps are already on in the house.
The saga across the Pond continues.
