Remembrance Day: Field of poppies

This was not taken today but topical. 

Today was officially a bank holiday, although it was like any other days in our house, except for Louise having no online classes. The weather was so sunny and mild that we spent an extended lunch hour sunning ourselves on the balcony (including the cats) and I also spent nearly 2 hours at the allotment planting some winter lettuces and clearing our new second plot.
