Remembering

Today being the 11th November, and the weather outside being somewhat uninviting, I thought it might be an idea to post this photo. It is actually less than half of a photograph that is two feet long which was taken during the Second World War. My Dad was in the RAF then and this is a photograph of all those stationed on his base in Yorkshire, grouped around a Halifax bomber belonging to Bomber Command. I am thankful not to have lived during the time of the war but without it, it's unlikely that my parents would have met.
