Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

Ghost town

The station concourse should have been teeming with commuters heading home from work at this time of day. But this is the Covid winter. People are thin on the ground; and in some cases they are thin and on the ground. It’s hard to understand the policy of Everyone In during the spring and summer not being replicated at this time of year, so homelessness and death could soar.

Very busy day in the home office. Did the two minutes silence on my Todd at 11am. We exchanged a few stories in the team meeting; a lot of people have tales to tell of family in the services. Two of my immediate colleagues are veterans of the Balkans conflict.

Sobering stuff.
