Remembrance.

Busy at the Lodge again but as has happened for a long as I can remember everything stopped just before 11:00 as we kept the two minutes silence along with those in Westminster Abbey.

I don't know if it owing to my age or a sign of the times the importance of "Armistice Day" grows year on year.  Perhaps it is because many alive (most) never experienced the war or know anybody who did.

Clickychick managed to find Poppies somewhere when she was out one day.  There was of course nobody selling them door to door as we have grown accustomed to.
