Frazzled Parent

There are no less than four nests full of demanding starling chicks around my house. I can hardly go anywhere without stirring up a chorus of chirps. Then there’s the distressed rasping of the anxious parents with beaks full of worms, afraid of revealing to me the positions of their nests. The worst part is the pooh the parents remove from the nests and drop on my washing. One day I had to wash my big bath towel three times.
