The Glossy Ibis and the Great Egret

I popped down to Fremington Pill as the tide was coming in today; the sun was out when I left home but clouds rolled in as I settled down to watch the birds. Four glossy ibis, one great white egret and one spotted redshank (a kindly passing twitcher told me the name of this redshank - apparently rare here - in extra) were enjoying a paddle and fishing.
I did not get a really good shot of the wonderful colours in the ibis, but enjoyed watching their antics for about ten minutes before they headed off behind a mud bank, out of sight.
