Electrifying

It was a nice morning but we had a very heavy rain shower last night, which meant that the already boggy meadows would be waterlogged and unpleasant for walking. It seemed a good idea to drive to the middle of the Arrow Valley park so that we could walk for several miles on hard paths, it also meant that we could do the weekly shopping with the car, on the way home.
It seemed as though most of the town had the same idea, I've never seen these paths so crowded, not even on warm summer weekends. I found myself trying to decide whether many of the people that we met were pig ignorant or just thoughtless, brushing past almost shoulder to shoulder. Toward the end of the walk  we spotted a Heron walking up river, but it almost seemed as though it knew exactly where to walk to prevent us getting a clear shot. So for Abstract Thurday's theme, Shapes, here's some elecricity poles.
Thanks to Ingeborg.
I had no blip for yesterday, it was dull, drab, dismal and depressing, my only highlight was finally fixing draughtproofing on the garage doors to keep out the Autumn leaves.
