Foggy night

It rained all day today, a calm female rain* that kept me from going on my daily walk. It got foggy in the afternoon, though I didn't notice until I took the trash out at night. I snapped this photo of the hill in the backyard. This would have been a good, spooky look for Halloween.

*In Diné (Navajo) culture, female rain is gentle and soothing, and male rain is intense and strong.
