St. Martin's Day

On St. Martin's Day in Austria, Germany, Netherlands (and some american cities) it is normal for children to go on processions in the street after dark carring selfmade lanterns which they made in school.
They sing songs together and get candy for it.
I thought due to Covid19 there would be no processions but the formed small groups and walked with big spaces between them.
