Parrot Waxcap

A sunny morning with a very cold wind greeted me as I got my camera gear out of the car this morning. I was on a fungi hunt for the elusive green Parrot Waxcap.
About 20 minutes in after finding snowy and golden Waxcaps I turned around and just had a glimpse of green. Yes! It was just two of the parrots.
I didn’t see another one for the whole of the morning but I did find lots of other fungi.
