tea by the sea

Another walk today, this time with my friend, colleague, and fellow Samba Sister, Saskia.

We walked from her house to Powfoot. The water here forms the Channel of the River Eden, which flows through the city of Carlisle and out into the Solway Firth. In the distance, we could see Silloth, and the Lake District hills (in mist). We stopped at the Powfoot Hotel for tea and then continued west along the coast and back up to the village of Cummertrees. I forgot to record our walk on Strava, but I think it was about 3 miles, and all in the bracing sea air :-)
