Lockdown High Street on a Saturday Afternoon

As you can see it was, unbelievably, only half past three this afternoon not nine at night when I took this photo of the High Street on our bedraggled way home from a walk. We'd set off an hour earlier when the rain had stopped but it didn't stay stopped for long.

Normally, this would have been one of the busiest days of the year in our High Street as it would have been Glastonbury Carnival night and thousands of people flock into the area, many of them taking the chance of doing some Christmas shopping beforehand. Not this year.

As you can see though, the Christmas lights have gone up in the High Street, as per tradition.

This morning we had our pre-breakfast not the park run run. Other than that, we've been inside sheltering from the weather and I've caught up on the first two days of The Masters golf.
