Der Flügel

This morning I was at Steinway House (although, thinking about it, it's probably Haus & not house) in Düsseldorf, with a friend, making the final arrangements for a concert there on Thursday evening (I think I was there as the heavy, just in case we needed to intimidate the pianoman)
This is a shot of the grand piano (a D and not a C, apparently...) that will be used on the evening, it's really a baby - being only 1 month old, and I'm not sure if I knew this already and have forgotten or whether it's totally new, but a grand piano in German is der Flügel (which literally means the wing). A beautiful beast in any language, I'm sure it'll crop up in Thursday's blip too!
